About Ellie's Pet Sitting
Hi! I'm Mary Ellen and I started Ellie's Pet Sitting because I just love
animals! I have owned pets for most of my life and have decided to
make a career of caring for our furry and feathered friends.
Currently, I have two adorable kitties that I rescued from a shelter as
kittens. They are named Beaker and Bunsen (after the Muppet
characters), and although they are very affectionate with me, they are shy
and hate going to stay in unfamiliar homes while I'm away on vacation.
They would certainly appreciate the opportunity to stay home and have
someone come visit them!
I am a supporter of a number of local animal rescue shelters and animal
organizations, donating my time to help exercise and clean up after dogs
and cats with no homes. As well as being truly rewarding, this is a great
opportunity to hone my skills working with dogs of all sizes, and with a
wide range of behaviors. As well as cats, birds and a tortoise, my current
customers include dogs of all types from Chihuahuas to English Mastiffs!
I take pet sitting and dog walking very seriously. I am trained in pet first
aid and CPR, have liability insurance to protect my customers and am
absolutely trustworthy and reliable.
An Experienced Team
As well as myself, I am lucky enough to work with five other professional
and experienced pet sitters and dog walkers who all have many years of
experience caring for animals. The whole Ellie's Pet Sitting team is
completely reliable and trustworthy, and looking after animals is
something we do for fun, not just as a job! Our team includes an ex-pet
store owner, a specialist in setting up and maintaining aquariums for
home and businesses, and someone knowledgeable about horse care.
If you trust me to look after your best friends, I promise to give them as
much love and care as I give to my own animals. Nearly 100 families
